Document Generation Node#
This node converts workflow results into a document file that can be downloaded and exported. It can be used to convert text generated by an LLM or the results of other nodes into PDF or DOCX format. The Document Generation node is used to convert workflow execution results into downloadable document files.
You can insert the output of other nodes into the document by loading them as variables, making it possible to automatically generate documents such as reports, analysis results, and summaries.
The document content supports Markdown format, and you can freely configure the structure and order of the document by combining multiple page blocks.
How It Works#
When the Document Generation node runs, it creates a single document file by combining the content of the configured page blocks in order.
If you use {{variableName}} in a page block, the execution result of another node is automatically inserted.
Once document generation is complete, a success message is returned to the user. If it fails, a failure message is returned.
The generated file can be downloaded from the "Generation Result" block in the execution log.
Sets the file name and extension of the document to be generated.
Enter the file name without the extension.
The following characters cannot be used in the file name: \ / : * ? " < > |
docx: Generates a document in Microsoft Word format.
pdf: Generates a document in PDF format.
Document Content#
Write the content to be included in the document in units of page blocks.
Each page block corresponds to one section of the document, and a page break is applied between blocks.
Markdown format is supported, and formatting can be applied from the top toolbar.
| Format | Description |
|---|
| H1 / H2 / H3 | Headings (large / medium / small) |
| Bulleted List | Unordered list |
| Numbered List | Ordered list |
| Divider | Horizontal rule |
Insert Variables: Use {{variableName}} to insert the execution result of another node into the document.
Reorder: Change the order of page blocks using drag and drop.
Add Block: Add a new page block using the "Page Break" button.
Delete Block: Delete unnecessary blocks using the trash icon. (At least one block must remain.)
Copy: Copy the block content in Markdown format using the clipboard icon.
